Creating spaces to tend to our bodies, our relationships and our place in the natural world.

We weren’t made for this much rushing, scrolling and noise.

Through movement, meditation and somatic ecotherapy guiding, Youtopia creates spaces to move, notice, gather, play and remember different ways of being.

Life is full, fast and very online.

There’s always somewhere to be, something to respond to, another tab open, another thing asking for your attention.

Maybe you’re craving more time outside. More time in your body. Conversations that wander somewhere below the surface. More play. More quiet. More moments where nobody needs anything from you.

Maybe you’re grieving what’s happening to the natural world, or wondering how we got so far away from it in the first place.

Or maybe you can’t quite name what you’re looking for.

Just that there must be other ways to be here.

Youtopia is a place to explore them.

What’s On

Gatherings and workshops around Geelong, the Surf Coast and beyond.

Some involve yoga. Some involve wandering through the bush. Some involve sitting around talking about things we don’t usually make time to talk about.

Most involve a cuppa.

TIME WITH TREES

Torquay, VIC.

Wandering on the land, playing, noticing, creating, gathering in circle for conversation and sharing tea beneath the trees. There's no rush, just space to enjoy the company of the land and each other.

PULL UP A STUMP

13 December 2026

Geelong, VIC.

For conversations that wander somewhere below the surface. A facilitated gathering for listening, sharing and talking about the stuff we don’t always get to in everyday conversation.

ART AND EARTH PLAY

Seasonal gatherings exploring creativity, curiosity and the living world using the natural materials around us.

YOGA

Weekly Classes + Private Sessions

Find me teaching weekly at Good Folk Yoga in Torquay and Geelong, or get in touch about private yoga for individuals, groups and events.

I’m a yoga teacher, somatic movement educator and ecotherapy guide living on Wadawurrung Country.

I spent the first part of my working life as a paramedic, which taught me plenty about humans, bodies and what happens when we keep going long after something in us is asking us to stop.

What helps us feel more alive and a part of this living world?

Youtopia grew from that curiosity.

It’s part yoga practice, part nature connection, part gathering place and part ongoing experiment in remembering how to be a human on a living planet we’re not separate from.

Meet Evie

G’day, I’m Evie.

  • "The nature immersion with Evie was such a wonderful way to reconnect, both with myself and with nature around me. In everyday life, it’s so easy to forget to breathe, slow down, notice the wind, the birds and take in the sense of wonder that is always there if we give ourselves time to notice it. Evie guided us through the experience with such a calm & thoughtful presence, creating space to switch off from everything else and be completely present. I left feeling incredibly refreshed, grounded & clear, in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time."

  • “Evie is a wonderful guide, and her excitement and love for nature is infectious. I loved having the opportunity to slow down and experience nature with all my senses. The highlight of the day for me was the child-like excitement of finding an interesting piece of nature to give to another participant, and how hard I tried to find the coolest pebble of leaf - it felt like being a toddler again”

  • “Evie has a rare way of blending grounded practices, reflection, and honest storytelling. What she offers helps you feel steadier, more connected, and more trusting of yourself in everyday life.”

  • “I’ve been attending Evie’s Mellow yoga classes twice a week for over a year, and they have become some of my favourite moments of the week. I love that there is a comforting sense of familiarity and predictability in the structure of each class, while Evie still manages to keep things fresh by weaving in new mantras, thoughtful quotes, seasonal themes and small changes that make every class feel considered. Evie has such a calm and warm presence, and she creates an environment where everyone can practise in a way that feels right for them. She always offers plenty of options for different abilities, without anything ever feeling forced, overly serious or pretentious. Her classes feel welcoming, grounding and genuinely enjoyable. It’s a truly wonderful yoga experience, and one I look forward to every week.
